Graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Illustration and Design, I spent a number of years as a free-lance illustrator and working in advertising and PR in the San Francisco Bay Area. My interests led me to get involved with the food world, apprenticing in a 2-star French restaurant in Brittany and eventually on to a specific interest in working with Artisan Cheesemakers in the US and UK. In the Summer of 2006 I was able to return to painting full time and have combined my love of great food, cheese, wine and travel. The painting medium is acrylic, the paintings done in a representational, illustrative style. The subjects are most often food and travel related. Many of my paintings, including commission work, are in private collections throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and East coast.
